AIM: To plan and make an audio presentation as a way of pitching our magazine in a professional and detailed manner in order to appeal to a publisher

When public speaking what is it important to remember to do?
  • Speak loudly and clearly by knowing what you will say before you speak
  • No stuttering or jumping words (errm, err)
  • Have a script ready
  • Keep a clear and calm mind so that you're focused
  • Express facts not opinions
  • Use evidence
  • Professional language
  • Explain yourself

If a Publisher was listening to your pitch, what would they want to know about your project?
  • They will want to know all the ideas you have for your magazine
  • Make sure when you're speaking, its easy to understand
  • Add extra plans for future
  • Also mention prototypes and new ideas that might make the magazine
This is my video of my first audio presentation

  1. Well done in this submission of your audio presentation. I will now (as I have with the rest of the class) ask you some questions about your project which I will expect you to answer in as much detail as possible under this comment so it is visable. You will be assessed on how you respond in the best way you can. Please provide at least 1 paragraph.

If you had the chance to interview a real life music star for this magazine, who would you choose and why?

    1. The music star that I would most like to interview for my magazine is Sway the well known UK hip hop artist. The reason that I have chosen to use him to interview in my magazine is because I feel that he will be the best linked to my target audience in the way he was brought up and his location in London (East End). He has just released a new album that could be a big feature in the interview as well.

  2. The type of questions that I will ask are questions like: How hard was it to make it in the music business. My readers would love to find out whether or not it is possible to make it in the business.
